Al-Said is responsible for providing strategic guidance and professional management in relation to all aspects of the capital development, infrastructure and operations of QSTP.
He is leading the development and implementation of strategic projects such as the QSTP master plan and phase two expansion.
Al-Said holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in California, USA. He also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Qatar University and a Master of Science degree in Facilities Management from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK. Prior to joining QSTP, he worked at RasGas’ Engineering department where he was responsible for the development of the Distributed Control System (DCS). He has also worked at Qatar Foundation Information Technology where he played a key role in the IT infrastructure development.
