Simon Chan

Simon Chan is a 4X founder turned investor. He has been at the forefront of AI-driven software development – from conducting academic research in AI to building an AI startup, and also leading the AI platform in Salesforce (popular CRM solutions provider) to now investing in the future of AI.

Simon runs Firsthand Alliance, an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in ambitious founders building the future of intelligent software. Before forming the alliance, Simon’s most recent startup was an AI infrastructure company that was later acquired by Salesforce to become the Einstein Platform.

Simon holds a B.S.E. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also has a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from University College London.
