Violetta Grigorieva is the Executive Director, Faculty and International Affairs at the SKOLKOVO School of Management, one of Russia’s leading business schools. Violetta has been part of the SKOLKOVO team since July 2011 when she joined as Advisor to the Rector.
In 2012, she became the lead for International Partnerships and Faculty Relations and has since been responsible for recruitment, hiring and performance evaluation of international and core faculty. Her work has involved nurturing partnerships with international universities and business schools and fostering cooperation with professional associations. Violetta is also Project Leader for EQUIS Accreditation and Financial Times Rankings.
Between 2003 and 2011, Violetta held various management positions at the headquarters of British Petroleum JV in Russia & Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), TNK-BP, including six years as Chief of Staff for Company, Chief Executive Officer & COO, in addition to other roles. Her career began in 1999 at Procter & Gamble Human Resources.
Violetta holds an MBA (with commendation) from Kingston University, UK. She also has a Master of Arts in Philology. In 2017, Violetta completed the EFMD-HUMANE Asia-Pacific School for senior university managers on Managing International Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education. The following year, she completed the IMD Leadership program orchestrating winning performance at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 2019, Violetta was certified by EFMD Professional Development on the successful completion of EFMD Global Network Quality Assurance Academy in 2019.
Violetta has been a Board Member of the Russian Association of Business Education since April 2022, where she was elected Vice-President for the period of 2024-2028. She is also a member of SKOLKOVO Academic Council and the Chair of SKOLKOVO Faculty Recruitment Committee since 2023.
