About GEW
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.
About GEW Qatar
With the theme ‘Entrepreneurship Everywhere’, GEW 2015 would be held on 15-19th November, hosted by Qatar Development Bank and in partnership with different organizations such as QU, QSTP, Shell, Silatech, Bedaya, QBIC, How Women Work, etc.
There would be one venue (Grand Hyatt Doha) on the 15th and the 16th wherein the opening and different sessions would take place. On the succeeding days, 17th to 19th, the activities would be decentralized, with activities around the country organized by the different partner organizations.
