Johnny Chan Kok Chung currently holds a number of leadership positions including that of Chief INVESTMENT Officer (CIO) at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, President and Executive Director of HK Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, and CIO of Softtech Investment Management Limited.
Johnny is also the Asia Convener and the Chairman Elect of the Global Venture Capital Congress. He is also the Founder and Secretary General of Asia Venture Capital and Private Equity Council since 2011. He acts as a Deputy Chairman of the Listing Committee at the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Under his expert advisory roles, Johnny serves as a member of HSBC’s Strategic Advisory Committee for the HSBC Venture Capital Strategy Fund, as well as an Independent Non-Executive Director and CHAIRMAN of the Investment Committee at HSBC’s Provident Fund Trustee.
Johnny founded Techpacific Capital Limited in 1999 and Crosby Wealth Management in 2002 where he acted as CEO and Chairman respectively.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Hons in Economics from the London Metropolitan University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Bayes Business School, City, University of London. Johnny attained his Postgraduate Diploma from Securities Institute of Australia, now known as FINSIA, in 1989.
